A conversation with Senator Julie Miville-Dechêne about Bill S-211 Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains
Keynote address by Victor Cordero, Fairtrade coffee producer and general manager of RED ECOLSIERRA in Colombia
A panel discussion moderated by Dr. Jordan Lebel from Concordia University: "Pleasure With a Conscience: A conversation on disruptive marketing and fair trade" with representatives from Equifruit, &Back Coffee and Tony's Chocolonely USA
Breakout sessions will also include panel discussions on child labour and human rights in the cocoa and cashew industries, climate change and coffee, the future of Fairtrade fresh produce in Canada's retail sector, fair trade handicrafts, a conversation with the some of the authors of "The Fair Trade Handbook", and sustainable procurement on Fair Trade Campuses.
There will also be a series of workshops for young participants, including a Fair Trade 101 training session, a Fair Trade Schools session and a session on effective engagement strategies for campuses and schools.
